Hearing about this one from various people in my network, wanted to share it on – especially as I don’t often share video!  There’s plenty of analysis to be found (here would be a good place to start), but to be honest, I think it speaks for itself.

    …Twitter completely embarrassed themselves in their recruitment video. It was neither real nor parody.

  6. Getting your recruitment material to actually go viral is the “holy grail” of real social media marketing. I haven’t actually seen that much of it within the recruitment sphere that has worked as well as you might want. Non recruitment campaigns that really nailed the viral aspect of things might include the “Old Spice” youtube campaign. All they did was take their character, the “old Spice Guy” and had him feature in youtube adverts aimed directly at specific youtube commenters. When your marketing material directly converses with your audience, people will promote your material for you, as they think they are promoting themselves. How that can be applied to recruitment I don’t yet know!
